The project was focused on creating photorealistic visuals to showcase the design language of Polestar 2, using a 3D model provided. Three different lighting methods were utilized: physical/studio lighting, HDRI and backplates, and full CG. The team worked diligently to ensure high-quality images were produced, accurately reflecting the design and aesthetics of Polestar 2. Through physical/studio lighting, the team was able to create an atmosphere that highlighted the car's sleek lines and contours. HDRI and backplates were used to showcase the car in a variety of settings, such as an urban environment or a natural landscape. The full CG method was utilized to create a dynamic and immersive experience, bringing the car to life in a virtual world
